Yes, Sterra Paws will still work since the filter inside already has all the necessary filter parts to do the air filtration efficiently.  However, a special membrane is recommended so that the particles of dust and fur caught upon filtration will stick to the membrane and not the filter directly, thus further increasing it’s efficiency by changing the membranes when the dust or pet fur is visibly obvious on the fabric.
